A trapezoid is never a kite... why though?

A trapezoid is never a kite... why though?

Answer

The definition of a trapezoid a quadrilateral with only one set of parallel sides.
This means that each trapezoid has have one single set of parallel sides.
A kite, however, can only have zero or 2 parallel sides.
The only way for it to have parallel sides were if it were a square, and a square has 2 pairs of parallel sides, not just one.
Therefore, a trapezoid cannot be a kite Hope this helped!!
