Kira, Ravi, and John have a total of $124 in their wallets.
Ravi has 4 times what John has.
John has $10 less than Kira.
How much do they have in their wallets?
Answer
Lets make John X, Kira would be X+10 and Ravi would be 4X.
You then make the equation 4X+X+X+10=124 Goes to 6X+10=124 Then 6X=114 Divide 6 from both sides so X=19.
John has $19 Ravi Has $76 and Kira has $29.
I'm sure that this is right.
