Who is Salvador Dali

Who is Salvador Dali

Answer

Salvador Dali was a Spanish surrealist painter, he also enjoyed drawing, film and photography.
His full name is Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dali I Domenech 1st Marques de Dali de Pubol- this is why he was mainly known as Salvador Dali.
He has done a number of paintings, and oil canvases- and one of these is called 'The Persistence of Memory'.
This is one of his first works, and one of his most notable- and this was 'published' in 1931.
In his career, which spanned over 50 years, he produced more than 1500 paintings.
Along side this, he regularly producted illustrations for Children's books, as well as designing and producing sets for stages for theatre shows.
He was born on the 11th May 1904, and died at the age of 84, on the 23rd January 1989.
He also started in a handful of movies, and one of these is An Andalusion Dog (or un chien andalou in French).
This was one of the first movies that he stared in, and he also helped to direct it.
Hope this helps :)
